"This shot is the most expensive shot in silent film history. It was filmed in a single take, that had to be perfect, with a real train and a ‘dummy’ engineer (notice the white arm hanging out the conductors window).

Today WB did a news release that they've brought the Hogworts Express to the London Studio Tour, and made a Platform 9 3/4

Marc knows quite a lot about this plane, and shared in the comments that it was the 1st to go round the world with in-flight refueling, and the wings were damaged so badly during a landing that they were removed
