Well, if you want to see some real history and not the censored blather in your history books, go look through Shorpy.com http://www.shorpy.com/  the only site I know of that you can get an education from just browsing through and reading the captions... it's just old photos, and so many readers and fans add details in the comments of the photos, you really ought to check those too on photos you're most interested in.

The other thing you might be thinking is .. Peerless made tanker trucks?
